Pacing guides are available to assure that instruction is moving at a rigorous pace and that every student has the skills necessary to Start Strong.

PreK-3rd Grade teachers will meet quarterly with the ECE Coordinator via VTC to address common needs. Teachers will collaborate with one another to discuss issues related to classroom management, content knowledge, quality instruction and assessment.

The YKSD offers Pre-Kindergarten programs for children who will turn four on or before September 1st in all of our communities that do not have a center-based Head Start program.
