The School Board recognizes that parents are their children's first and most influential teachers and that continued parental involvement in the education of children contributes greatly to student achievement and conduct. The Board also acknowledges that community members, including traditional councils, have a special interest in the education programs and extracurricular programs provided to their children. Our schools provide opportunities for families and communities to be involved in development and implementation of the educational and cocurricular programs.
